The Ahmed and Roshan Virani Children’s Clinic is a comprehensive pediatric facility located in Southwest Houston providing health, dental and diagnostic services for uninsured children 16-years-old and younger. The clinic was established by the generous contribution by Farid and Dr. Asha Virani.
Our doors opened in the summer of 2016, and we are projected to assist more than 10,000 children within our first year of operation. The beautiful facility offers six private exam rooms along with a preventative care room that focuses on education and resources for wellness. Children without insurance – or those who do not quality for public health insurance programs – are provided with the health care they need.
The clinic is an extension of the Ibn Sina Foundation, which was founded in 2001 by a group of local healthcare professionals to bridge the gap between accessible healthcare and the growing population of low income families.
The foundation’s mission is to ensure the health of the community by providing integrated, preventative and primary care in a clinical setting, thereby enhancing the quality of life for future generations. We hold this same mission at the Pediatric Clinic, as we are dedicated to improving the health and quality of life of the most vulnerable in our society, our children.
